Connect2Korea is a member-based networking group for those who are not born in Korea (except Korean adoptees), but love Korean culture. You could be related to Korea by marriage, adoption, work, education, travel, military and diplomatic services. This project is fully endorsed by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco.
Connect2Korea embraces spouses of Korean, Korean War veterans and their families, Korean adoptees and their families, and students of Korean language and culture studies. You will meet people with same interests and passion for Korean food, music, film, language, and Korean culture in general. There is no membership fee, nor obligation to participate in events offered by the Group. You will be added to our mailing list by simply taking a survey and receive program updates and event notifications. Visit our website periodically for upcoming events. We encourage members to take advantage of unique opportunities to experience Korean culture.
Under the leadership of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco, the Connect2Korea has expanded to Denver and Salt Lake City. We are looking forward to working together to promote Korean culture in the main stream of American society.
We are conducting a survey to identify the demographics and interests of the members, and the results from this survey will be used as guidelines in developing educational programs and cultural events for members of all background and age groups. The answers will only be used for statistical purposes and kept fully confidential.
